Art for Youth North

Art for Youth North is one of the north's biggest contemporary art shows, displaying original work from over 70 artists and with over 750 individual pieces of art from paintings, etchings and photographs to sculpture and ceramics.

Celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, the show champions new and established northern artists and is a unique opportunity to see some of the region's biggest names on display in one place. Contributors include many award-winning artists and most have exhibited regionally, nationally and some internationally, with their work enjoyed by private collectors both in the UK and worldwide.

33% of every piece sold goes to UK Youth, formerly Youth Clubs UK, whose patrons include HRH The Princess Royal and Nigel Mansell and has helped support local projects including Thirsk Youth Club. Over £350,000 has been raised to date.

Rachel Bowron, Chair for Art for Youth North, says: “We say to anyone who loves art, why bother buying reproductions when you can support local talent and buy original, affordable art and raise money for charity at the same time.”
